Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join their growing team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be a vital part of the Maintenance Department, supporting critical plant operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving and a strong commitment to safety.
Job Title: Instrument Technician
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $ 35-39/hr
What’s the Job?
Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair a variety of process instrumentation
Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument malfunctions to ensure optimal plant performance
Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed
Collaborate effectively with other technicians and maintenance personnel
What’s Needed?
Associate's Degree in Instrumentation Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar industrial setting
Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation
Proficiency in using calibration tools and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
