Our client, an Energy Infrastructure Company, is seeking an Electronic Flow Measurement Engineer to join their team. As an EFM Engineer, you will be part of the Products team supporting liquid pipeline systems.
Job Title: Electronic Flow Measurement Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
What’s the Job?
Specify EFM equipment
Perform configuration of and technical support for products flow computers
Specify peripheral equipment (enclosures, power supplies, solar power systems, transmitters, modems, cabling, terminal blocks, etc)
Perform configuration of and technical support for products flow computers: ABB Spirit and FlowX, Omni, and Emerson ROCs.
Write documentation for EFM system
What’s Needed?
BS in Engineering from an accredited University, having a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Applicants without an Engineering degree having ten years of relevant industry experience, will also be considered
Possess project management skills used in the development of project documents
Travels from 15-20% of time to field sites and offices with occasional overnight stays
On-call support for Gas Control, field personnel or Management, related to operational problems on the measurement and SCADA system
