What will you be doing?

• Responsible for setting up the Soup department packaging line(s) including, on occasion, acting as a Floorperson helping in setting up the front of the production line.

• Responsible for keeping the packaging line supplied with materials (boxes, slip sheets) at all times working closely with material handlers and Team Leader.

• Responsible for affixing accurate product labels, skid tickets and the proper stacking of finished products.

• Maintain packing area and processes according to specifications and takes care of any deficiencies on the packing line (i.e. maintenance needs, materials, etc.)

• Set up, operate and maintain code date equipment for the accuracy of product code dates on individual products as well as finished cases.

• Assure the proper printed label information is accurate and free from defect.

• Complete appropriate production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

• Communicate maintenance/mechanical needs to designated Maintenance Mechanic.

• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
