Our Insurance domain client is seeking a Sr Quality Analyst to join their team. As a Sr Quality Analyst you will be part of the client upporting Team. The ideal candidate will have Manual, Automation & AWS Skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior QA Analyst

Location: 100% Remote (EST hours)

Duration: 12 Month Contract + (Possible extension)

Pay Range: $55-60/hr.

Job Description

For this contractor assignment, the Senior QA Analyst will support two platform Scrum teams, working on 6 Claims Core web applications supporting 10 developers. This will require developing an understanding of the existing applications, understanding automated testing, facilitate test specify meetings, building and maintaining the regression suite, and documenting testing requirements. This contractor will be responsible for delivery of results test plans. 

This contractor will write, review with the team, execute manual test plans, work with developers on automated and E2E tests, and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies. The contractor needs to understand negative testing and look for ways to "break" the application in QA to help ensure bugs are not introduced in production.

Required Skills:

• Experience with AWS, especially with dynamo tables and CloudWatch logging

• Experience with front end/UI testing

Preferred skills/experience:

• Postman

• Experience with chrome dev tools, AWS, Splunk and Swagger

• Familiarity with TFS/ADO

• Experience working in a Scrum environment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum 4 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.

  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of 4 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.

  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of 6 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
