Our client, is seeking a Process Engineer (Contract to Hire) to join their team.
As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team
supporting new product development and the introduction of new products into manufacturing.

What’s the Job?
Responsible for developing, overseeing, and adjusting manufacturing parameters to ensure that business objectives of cost control, product quality, and productivity targets meet or exceed targets.
Works with other departments in the execution of machining, maintenance, quality, and new equipment installation activities.
Support operations and maintenance functions with technical work instructions and diagnostic tools.
Provide production support, including troubleshooting manufacturing process and equipment.
Apply structured problem-solving analysis techniques utilizing engineering principles and practices to provide solutions to product processes, controls, facilities, and equipment issues.
What’s Needed?
4 to 6 years of prior experience as a manufacturing or process engineer in a plant manufacturing nylon polymer, co-polymer, and compounds.
Results driven with proven decision-making skills and high accountability.
Must be willing and able to work off-shift and weekends when needed to maximize opportunities for equipment availability to meet project timelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Thorough working knowledge of all current OSHA and Safety Standards.
