ManpowerGroup Process Engineer in Henderson, Kentucky

Our client, is seeking a Process Engineer (Contract to Hire) to join their team.

As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team

supporting new product development and the introduction of new products into manufacturing.

What’s the Job?

  • Responsible for developing, overseeing, and adjusting manufacturing parameters to ensure that business objectives of cost control, product quality, and productivity targets meet or exceed targets.

  • Works with other departments in the execution of machining, maintenance, quality, and new equipment installation activities.

  • Support operations and maintenance functions with technical work instructions and diagnostic tools.

  • Provide production support, including troubleshooting manufacturing process and equipment.

  • Apply structured problem-solving analysis techniques utilizing engineering principles and practices to provide solutions to product processes, controls, facilities, and equipment issues.

What’s Needed?

  • 4 to 6 years of prior experience as a manufacturing or process engineer in a plant manufacturing nylon polymer, co-polymer, and compounds.

  • Results driven with proven decision-making skills and high accountability.

  • Must be willing and able to work off-shift and weekends when needed to maximize opportunities for equipment availability to meet project timelines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Thorough working knowledge of all current OSHA and Safety Standards.
