Manpower Group Customer Quality Engineer - mechanical manufacturing in Hanover, Pennsylvania

Our client, a successful and expanding manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA has a direct hire opportunity for a Customer Quality Engineer .

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and be responsible for Customer Quality satisfaction

  • Track, reduce, negotiate Quality incidents and costs

  • Initiate/participate improvement programs with customer base - Project Excecutions/Project Tracking

  • Comply with company and OE Sales/Quality procedures and policies

  • Investigate quality claims and perform investigations on-site at main customers

  • Drive timely QR6S completion for each new failure mode detected, in line with QR6S process

  • Maintain cooperation with PE and ML teams

  • Support escalations/join task force teamsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in business/engineering; technical background

  • Automotive experience in matrix environment is preferred

  • 3-5 years work experience in Manufacturing and/or Process Engineering / Quality

  • Analytical, collaborative and communication skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Ability to travel up 30% (possible international travel)
