Our client, a leading innovator in transportation, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their world-class Cab Driving Team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of seats and controls (steering wheel, pedals) – the very elements that connect drivers to the vehicle. The ideal candidate is a passionate and collaborative engineer with a proven track record of success.
Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay Range: $ 46-51/hr
What’s the Job?
Lead seat and control (steering wheel, pedals) development projects within the Cab Driving Team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure seamless design and execution.
Utilize CATIA to conduct studies, develop designs, and manage releases.
Leverage your expertise to proactively identify and mitigate technical challenges.
Foster a knowledge-sharing environment within the team, promoting continuous learning and development.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
Proven experience using CATIA for design and development.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
