Our client, a leading innovator in transportation, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their world-class Cab Driving Team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of seats and controls (steering wheel, pedals) – the very elements that connect drivers to the vehicle. The ideal candidate is a passionate and collaborative engineer with a proven track record of success.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Greensboro, NC

Pay Range: $ 46-51/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Lead seat and control (steering wheel, pedals) development projects within the Cab Driving Team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure seamless design and execution.

  • Utilize CATIA to conduct studies, develop designs, and manage releases.

  • Leverage your expertise to proactively identify and mitigate technical challenges.

  • Foster a knowledge-sharing environment within the team, promoting continuous learning and development.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • Proven experience using CATIA for design and development.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
