ManpowerGroup Product Design Engineer in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job Position : Product Design Engineer

Location : Grand Rapids, MI 49508

Job Title : Product Design Engineer

Pay Rate : $30.00 per hour.

Duration : 1-year contract with the possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conceptualize designs, conduct analysis, and ensure design verification using ProE/Creo. Apply engineering/mechanical design principles, define specifications, select materials, and verify design integrity.

  • Utilize ProE/Creo for modeling and analysis. Guide or create computer models for mechanical design/engineering purposes. Use engineering process tools for verification.

  • Adhere to design/engineering standards and protocols.

  • Documenting and analyzing designs. Familiar with other relevant software.

  • Employ various techniques for effective technical issue resolution.

  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

  • Manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and effectively manage time.

  • Ensure compliance with quality systems and standards for quality results.

  • Effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Proven experience in product design engineering.

  • Proficiency in ProE/Creo and other relevant engineering software.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

  • Adherence to quality standards and procedures.
