ManpowerGroup MAINTENANCE MECHANIC in Manufacturing Environment in Fullerton, California

Our client, in the Industrial Paper Industry is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year of Maintenance Mechanic experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Fullerton, CA

Pay Range: $31.00 to 35.00 Hourly

What’s the Job?

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture of parts for imperfections.

• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts

• Starts devices to test their performance. Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

• Initiates purchase request for parts and machines.

• Repairs electrical equipment.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 2-years experience in Maintenance Mechanic field

Must be able to work ALL 3 SHIFTS including Saturdays and Sundays (day/s off will be throughout the week)

• Corrugating or Converting experience is preferred.

• Experience with Motors, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Electrical systems

• Experience with Blueprints/Schematics

• Ability to pass Background and Drug screenings
