ManpowerGroup Manufacturing Operator in Fremont, California
Our client, a well-known BioTech company, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Microbiology Division. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Operator
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Range: $21.00/hr
What’s the Job?
Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery, performing simple maintenance, and reporting malfunctioning equipment immediately to Supervisor or Lead.
Obtain correct materials for operation needs from the warehouse or staging area.
Organize production flow, ensuring materials availability, estimating progress of the line, and scheduling breaks while corresponding to production time schedule in a safe manner.
Accurately document work, checking personal work for quality and compliance, monitor product for defects, and assist with the inventory process.
Accurately dispense required additives to media, perform proper technique of pH balance as needed, and investigate and remedy possible production failures.
What’s Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
Basic math skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 600 lb. wheeled kettles.
Ability to stand for sustained periods of time, approximately 10 hours a day.
