ManpowerGroup Technical Writer in Foster City, California

Our client, a pioneering force in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of Base Operations Organization. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, ability to multitask, and be a self-starter with a team player attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $38-$40.50 / hour

What’s the Job?

Create documentation for the following:

  • Vehicle operations manuals and mission readiness documentation

  • Vehicle-level inspection, maintenance and repair remove/replace procedures

  • Software programming and post-repair bring-up

  • Fleet upgrade and rework procedures

  • Technical service bulletins

What’s Needed?

  • 2-5 years experience as a technical writer or relevant field

  • Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office suite

  • Experience with topic-based writing concepts

  • Markup language experience (HTML, XML, or DITA XML)

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and cross-functional teamwork skills
