Job Description:
Manpower is seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will also be required to load and unload trucks, maintain a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries
Move goods to and from storage areas, manufacturing lines, and loading docks
Stack and store merchandise in appropriate locations
Ensure goods are stored safely and securely to prevent damage
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines regarding safety and transportation
Requirements:
Forklift experience not required but is a plus
Good physical condition and coordination to operate the forklift in a safe manner
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Willingness to work overtime as needed
