ManpowerGroup Cyber Security Architect in Durham, North Carolina

Our client, a global IT leader, is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fortifying our security infrastructure, specializing in identifying single sign-on solutions and enhancing database security protocols.

Job Title: Cyber Security Architect

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 1 year (Renewable)

Pay Range: $60-65/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust single sign-on solutions to bolster our security measures.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of database security protocols, ensuring the protection of sensitive data.

  • Utilize Sec+ certification expertise to bolster the overall security infrastructure.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to stringent security standards.

  • Assist in the management and upkeep of application portfolios, encompassing various software, off-the-shelf applications, and third-party SaaS solutions.

  • Provide proficient support for commercial or in-house developed applications, aiding the Splunk team in streamlining processes for optimal efficiency.

  • Perform thorough analyses to identify potential security vulnerabilities within systems, APIs, and databases, proposing and implementing effective solutions.

  • Work alongside stakeholders to devise and maintain robust application portfolio structures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a Cyber Security Engineer role, with a proven track record of success.

  • Proficiency in identifying and implementing single sign-on solutions.

  • Strong understanding of database security principles and best practices.

  • Sec+ certification is a mandatory requirement; CISSP certification is advantageous but not required.
