ManpowerGroup QA Inspector II in Columbus, Ohio
Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a private nonprofit in the applied sciences & technology development industry , is seeking a QA Inspector to work in their facility in Columbus, OH . This would be a 15-Month Contract , paying $26.65/Hour + benefits.
Job Title: QA Inspector
Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Duration: 15-Month Contract with possibility of extension/conversion
Schedule: Fully onsite, Mon-Fri
Pay: $26.65/HR + benefits
This position is responsible for supporting the Applied Science and Technology group involving the conceptual design, development, and manufacturing of armored commercial vehicles and other prototype work.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect large, complex fabricated parts using hand tools such as calipers, height gages, take measures, micrometers, and angle gauges.
Interpret and demonstrate understanding of engineering drawings, inspection procedures, and work instructions.
Inspects welded parts to defined quality standards.
Use fixtures and measurement tools to setup parts and perform inspections.
Use electronic enterprise resource planning system to transact materials into and out of Quality and Research inquiries regarding part status.
Perform in-process and final visual and functional inspections of products to defined criteria.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizen eligible to receive a security clearance
Minimum 5+ years experience with quality inspection of complex fabricated parts
Engineering drawing reading/interpretation
Understanding of measurement methodologies and techniques.
Associate degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education/experience
Experience of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT), using FARO arm to perform inspections, working within US military/defense contractor environment, & working under ISO 9001:2015 quality production environment.
