Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking a Machinist Operator to join their team. As a Machinist Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, aligning successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Machinist Operator
Location: Clackamas
Pay Range: $22-28/hr DOE
Days: 6am-2:30pm M-F
What’s the Job?
Set up and perform machining operations on various metals, castings, forgings, and fabrications.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
Use measuring tools to control machining operations.
Adjust machine controls to regulate factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow.
Monitor machine operation for malfunctions and make adjustments as needed.
What’s Needed?
Attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications.
Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
Prior machining-related experience and/or training.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
