ManpowerGroup Controls Engineer - Siemens -GM SiFACS in Buffalo, New York
Our client, an industrial machine manufacturer, is seeking a Controls Engineer for an anticipated project lasting at least 1 year. The role will involve mid to high-level Siemens PLC programming, with a focus on CNC controls experience, particularly using Siemens 840D.
Job Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Lockport, NY (per diem provided)
Responsibilities
PLC programming and installations, focusing on CNC equipment with Siemens 840D.
Debugging and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
Providing PLC programming, machine debugging, and machine validation.
Ensuring that systems are designed and programmed to match specifications.
Programming and commissioning industrial control systems.
Qualifications
Previous experience in PLC programming and installations, preferably with CNC equipment.
Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming, particularly with 840D.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Solid communication skills.
Experience in a machining environment is a plus.
