ManpowerGroup Treasury Analyst in Bridgewater, New Jersey

As a Treasury and Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our treasury back-office operations, ensuring the efficient management of our credit portfolio. This role will require you to interact with various departments within the organization and external partners to drive financial stability and support strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass credit analysis, treasury operations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Back Office:

• To maintain electronic banking files, handle Kickouts, prepare journal entries for debt and interest-related transactions, including intercompany, and record necessary General Ledger entries. (Daily)

• Review and approve payment proposals for both regions (US and Canada). Create manual payments, including wire transfers. (Payment weekly, others daily)

• Handle payment-related inquiries, deposit checks, and post journal entries. (Daily)

• Assist in generating daily cash collection reports for the US and Canada. (Daily)

• Initiate investigations into transaction issues and facilitate communication between internal teams and banks to resolve exceptions. (Case basis)

• Bank Governance: Assist in the opening and closing bank accounts, update bank account schematics, and signatory changes as required. (Adhoc)

• Assist in overseeing bank-related activities, including monitoring and reviewing bank fees and account analysis statements (Monthly)

• Vendor Credit Applications: Confirm vendor credit applications, conduct research in SAP, and communicate with vendors for verification. (Adhoc)

• Tax Support: Help with tax-related activities, including tax clearing and ACH processing. (Weekly)

• Financial Reporting and Audit Assistance: Respond promptly to internal and external audit requests for data and information as required.

• Reconciliation Management: Provide support to ensure backup reconciliations are current and accurate. (Monthly)

• Monthly Disbursement Reports: Generate monthly reports for disbursements.

• Collaborate with the accounting department to establish new bank accounts General Ledger for accurate cash recording. (Adhoc)

• Special Projects and Reporting: Support any special projects and reporting requirements.

• Backup Responsibilities: Serve as a backup for Treasury Analyst I (Treasury Back Office)

• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

Credit Analysis & Subsidiary Financing:

• Collaborate with Sales and Collections teams during credit reviews when receiving a Salesforce request for both regions (US and Canada).

• Assess and approve or decline credit requests for new customers based on detailed credit reports and financial statements.

• Evaluate and approve or decline credit line increases for existing customers for requests from a sales rep or account manager via email for Frac or PPS accounts.

• Monitor and perform risk analysis on existing customers, proposing necessary adjustments to credit limits to mitigate potential financial risks to the Credit Managers.

• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and maintain the credit limit compliance reports in the appropriate credit folders/drives (Monthly)

• Assist in collateralization activities (e.g., Letter of credit, bonds, Parental guarantees) via periodic reporting and validation of vendor invoices.

• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

• Back Office: Subsidiary Financing, Banks, WNS, IS, Controlling, Taxes, SSC (WNS), HR.

• Credit and Financial Analysis: Credit and Collections, Business and Sales Teams.
