About the Role:

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BS/BA degree with a 3+ years of industry or academia experience.

Required skills:

  • Strong general knowledge of methods in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and method optimization and troubleshooting

  • Proven experience in image acquisition and strong microscopy skills and strong working knowledge of mouse and human neuroanatomy

  • Ability to work independently on data analysis including a practical knowledge of statistics.

  • Tissue embedding, microtome and cryostat sectioning.

Responsibilities: Scientist–Neuroscience:

  • The Neuroscience team is seeking a motivated and technically skilled in-vitro scientist with established immunohistochemistry expertise in Neuroscience to join our Boston-based Exploratory Discovery team.

  • Candidates will be able to work independently but will also be expected to proactively collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.

  • Primary responsibilities include execution of immunohistochemistry and histology experiments to support the identification and validation of novel targets to treat CNS diseases including neurodegenerative diseases.

  • The candidate will be an active participant in the positive and critical scientific dialogue that is necessary to progress our programs.
