Customer Service – Planning and Logistics – Bloomington, MN
Hours: 8am-5pm
Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 DOE
Summary
Under moderate supervision, performs a variety of semi-routine activities to support Customers, Branch Offices and Field Support Engineers (FSE’s). The primary purpose for this position is to process incoming Customer Support requests for service or parts, planning and logistics related to the tools in the field.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Rebalancing parts between 3PL and regions for CSAT
Work with supply chain re-balance parts to move inventory to 3PL
Manage and maintain WW 3PL locations to support goal @ 95% lines with stock (LWS)
Perform transactions accordingly to rebalance inventory.
Entering routine sales orders and return material authorizations (RMA) orders
Processing inquiries/requests from customers, ONTO Field Organization and branch offices which may or may not be routine in nature – 10%
Provide quotations for price and availability of spare parts to customers and FSE’s
Provide service coordination with MFG.
Sending requests for service parts to manufacturing for emergency shipments
(Service Planning) When necessary, print pick list, pick parts, and provide parts and shipping details to shipping personnel
Expedite and prioritize parts from manufacturing for emergency shipments
Maintain/update Installation and service records databases
Service Contract Administration
Assist on special projects
Education & Experience:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Business or related field + 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in spares planning, customer service, logistics
Ability to work independently from corporate office
Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working on Oracle ERP is advantageous
Knowledge of international shipping regulations
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
APICS certified is a plus
