ManpowerGroup Warehouse associate in Birmingham, Alabama

What’s in it for you:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM work schedule
Starting pay $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
Assist with shipping and receiving activities: unload trucks, check merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute orders for processing.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for employees and customers.
Work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as required.
Handle check calls from drivers, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate load data validation.
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and proper condition of loads.
What You’ll Need to Excel:
Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends based on freight volumes.
Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry preferred.
Experience with loading and unloading trailers.
Familiarity with handheld scanners.
Critical thinking skills to follow written, verbal, or diagram instructions.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.
Capability to load and unload trucks.
