ManpowerGroup Accounting Clerk III in Birmingham, Alabama

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with exceptional data entry skills to join our team for a critical 3-month project. This onsite position is focused on cleaning up our current customer master file, ensuring accuracy and completeness in customer account setups, contact information updates, and system synchronization across QAD and AvaTax.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and correct customer account setups to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Enter and update necessary contact information in QAD system and AvaTax.

  • Identify and update inactive customer accounts as per established guidelines.

  • Perform regular data reconciliation of accounts and conduct analysis to ensure data integrity.

  • Manage customer accounts effectively, providing necessary support and resolution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in collections or related field.

  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

  • Familiarity with account management principles and practices.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Additional Information:

  • Pay rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

  • Position Type: Temporary, Full-time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday).

  • Location: Onsite only

  • Immediate availability preferred.
