A global supplier of unique, energy-efficient products is now seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Operator! Utilize your expertise while helping to create best-in-class products at an industry-leading company in Biddeford.

Three day weekend!
Monday-Thursday schedule working 9am-7pm
Competitive pay of $18-25/hour DOE, paid weekly
What will you be doing?
Setting up and operating conventional, special-purpose, and CNC machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts
Reading blueprints and other instructional materials to determine appropriate dimensions and tolerances
Applying your knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques
Using precision measuring equipment
Following all established safety policies and procedures
What will you bring to the job?
3+ years of machining experience preferred, machine programming experience is a plus
Ability to perform setups and read blueprints
Proficiency with all measuring instruments used in the trade
Good reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Great attention to detail
Ability to understand the basic properties and reactions of chemicals within the work area
