The Opportunity

We are seeking a results-oriented Focus Factory Manager to lead a high-performing team within our dedicated manufacturing facility. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production for a specific product line, ensuring we meet or exceed ambitious goals for output, quality, and cost-efficiency. You'll leverage your deep manufacturing expertise and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, cultivate a collaborative work environment, and foster a culture of safety and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize production processes, maximize output, and minimize costs within the focus factory.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including production planning, scheduling, capacity management, and inventory control.

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.

  • Champion continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Manage the focus factory's budget, allocate resources effectively, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.

  • Foster a collaborative environment by leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, quality control, suppliers, and customers.

  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management on the focus factory's performance and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA a plus).

  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

  • In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and project management best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.

  • Proficient in using MES, ERP software, and data analysis tools.

  • Prior experience with the company's product line and industry (preferred).

  • Advanced degree or professional certification in project management (PMP), inventory management (CPIM), or Lean Six Sigma (a plus).
