Title: Fabrication Assistant

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fabrication Assistant to join our growing team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fabrication industry and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced fabricators with cutting and forming various diameter tubing and fittings according to customer specifications.

  • Utilize measuring tools like calipers, height gauges, and tape measures to ensure precise results.

  • Prioritize safety by adhering to established protocols and operating equipment responsibly.

  • Interpret blueprints and shop plans to understand project requirements.

  • Participate in the development of basic design elements for welding projects. (Optional: If this is a significant responsibility)

  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating a variety of tools and equipment used in the fabrication process.

  • Be prepared to undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret basic measurements using measuring devices.

  • Experience with cutting and forming tubing or similar materials (preferred).

  • A strong foundation in math is a plus.

  • Eagerness to learn new skills and a willingness to take on challenges.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

  • Successful completion of a fabrication skills assessment (test).
