Assembly Technician - 1st Shift
Do you have an aptitude for mechanics and an eye for detail? We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join a great team in Appleton, WI. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, have some industrial assembly, team and detail oriented than we want to talk to you!
Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Appleton, WI
Pay Range: $18.00 +
Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
What’s the Job?
Assemble control valves, on/off valves and pneumatic actuators
Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, inspect, and test valve assemblies.
Understanding of pneumatic and digital controls.
Ability and knowledge to reference appropriate valve manuals.
Exhibit an ability to effectively communicate with plant personnel regarding valve and instrumentation equipment and customer requirements.
What’s Needed?
1 - 3 years industrial assembly experience
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to, or possess ability to learn how to, operate large warehouse equipment; namely forklifts.
Basic computer proficiency required, namely the ability to operate Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of required equipment, including hand tools, power tools, etc.
Clean driving record.
