Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a chemical organization supporting the rubber industry . Looking for a Staff Accountant to work a hybrid schedule at their headquarters in Akron, OH . This will be a permanent / direct hire opportunity.
Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Akron, OH
Permanent / Direct Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30am to 4:30pm, some flex, prefer Mon-Thurs onsite/Fri remote
Salary Range: 65-70K Annual + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Performing accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger within compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
Resolving any account discrepancies, assisting with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
Partner with other accounting functions, including AR, AP, Plant controllership, Treasury, and Tax.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-4 years professional accounting experience, preferably in public & industry
ERP Accounting Software, SAP preferred, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Attention to detail, communication skills, organizational, and time management abilities
