ManpowerGroup Event Coordinator in New York, New York

Our client is seeking an Event Planner to join their team.

Pay Range: $27-33hr

Duration 3 months

Location: NY, NY, 10036

What’s the Job?

Responsibilities include: Working on-site at the conference at the Westin New York at Times Square June 26-28 -- monitor registration, issuing evaluations; setting up workshops/other events. Plus, Ongoing clerical duties-answering phones, data entry, preparing reports from databases

  • 35 hours/week, 9-5 schedule (may be additional hours/different schedules on conference days-/e.g., 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)

Qualifications: Experienced in event work; answering high volume calls, performing clerical duties; Must be highly motivated, quick-thinking with a strong work ethic, a superb attention to detail and organization and an excellent ability to multitask. Able to work with internal and external stakeholders. Strong customer service skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and knowledge of Access and other databases

  • The work will be in the office-initially-with a manager present, then hybrid 3 days onsite
