Our client, a multinational consumer goods company is seeking a Manufacturing/Packaging Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Manufacturing/Packaging Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Custom Manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and be a team player which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing/Packaging Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA 17055
Pay Range: $25-30/hour depending on experience and skillset
What’s the Job?
Install, setup, clean and repair packaging line equipment (i.e. shrink-wrap lines, conveyors, tapers)
Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of systems using electrical, mechanical and processing skills. Maintains production efficiency and quality by troubleshooting equipment problems and determining root cause. Makes effective repairs and adjustments to equipment in a timely manner.
Demonstrates ability to setup and changeover all Packaging Line equipment in a timely manner, to insure minimum downtime and smooth startup.
Operates Packaging line and related equipment including startup, adjustments, clearing jams, manual operations, and shutdown.
Fabricates parts when necessary for in-line and process improvements as well as performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or RB Manager.
What’s Needed?
Max of 5
1-3 years experience as an Industrial Maintenance technician preferred
Works effectively in a team work environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
TIme management, scheduling, and prioritization skills
